And when the Indochinese War ended In 1942, the Buddhist Association of Thailand seriously moved forward with the construction of the "Phra Buddha Chinnarat". The Phra Buddha Chinnarat, Indochina model, year 1942, had a gold casting ceremony at Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, Phitsanulok Province, on Saturday, the 5th waxing moon of the 3rd month, corresponding to February 1, 1942, before the Buddhist Association committee came to ask for mercy.
His Holiness Somdej Phra Sangkharat (Pae Tissadeva Mahathera) of Wat Suthat Thepwararam in the matter of the Buddha Abhiseka ceremony. His Majesty graciously allowed the Buddhist Association Committee to bring the Phra Buddha Chinnarat, Indochina model, to the Buddha Abhiseka ceremony at the Ubosot of Wat Suthat Thepwararam on March 21, 1942. With His Holiness Somdej Phra Sangkharat (Pae Tissadeva Mahathera) as the chairman and His Holiness Sri Satchayanamuni (Santi) as the organizer who carried out the ceremony and also performed the gold pouring ceremony to cast the Buddha image according to the recipe for making the Phra Kring Phra Chaiwat of Wat Suthat.
The Buddha Abhiseka ceremony held at that time was considered to be an unprecedentedly grand ceremony that is still talked about today because many monks from all over the country and famous monks of that era presented amulet plates and traveled to join in the blessing ceremony in large numbers.
